Getting Ready

Emily, her mom, and her bridesmaids got ready in our bridal suite at 9am on Saturday morning. Keeping the ceremony intimate, it was an extra special time for the ladies who got to soak up the sweet moments of just the three of them. Ross and his groomsman arrived at 12pm to get ready in our groom’s suite before the ceremony started.

The Front Parlor Ceremony

Emily descended the spiral staircase accompanied by her mom and into the front parlor where the ceremony was held. Using one of our many fireplaces as a backdrop, Emily and Ross exchanged rings and vows in front of some of their dearest friends.

What we love about their ceremony: Intimate ceremonies like this one can be so special and allows you to feel right at home in Ravenswood Mansion.

Couple portaits

Ross and Emily decided to forgo the first look and keep that moment for the ceremony. After they exchanged vows, they explored the grounds and captured that “just married glow”! We love that they fully embraced the holiday timing and took photos with our already set holiday decor!

The Reception

At 6pm, guests began to arrive to celebrate the newly minted Pepper’s. They were welcomed by a guest book table and followed the pathway to where an Edison bulb lit tent waited for them. Emily and Ross included a backdrop with a neon light install of their last name to serve as a fun photo prop for the evening. Guests were able to explore the house and grab a drink at the bar stationed in the Red Room before milling back out to the patio where dinner and dessert awaited them. Taper candles filled the greenery accented tables while guests danced the night away as two families become one. At 8:45pm, the Pepper’s thanked their guests for celebrating their love and departed!
