A big change is coming to Ravenswood Mansion! Starting April 2027, a tent will be a standard inclusion in all peak season event packages. This addition simplifies your planning process and ensures a flawless event, regardless of the weather.

Beginning April 1, 2027, and lingering through the sweet dusk of October 31st, a stately 44' x 103' sailcloth tent, a vision of classic elegance will grace the grounds of Ravenswood Mansion. With wooden poles reaching toward the sky and delicate flags fluttering on each peak, this elegant canopy awaits your special celebrations. String lights will add a simple, sophisticated ambiance, both inside the tent and along the walkway to the mansion. Inside, warm string lights will cast a soft glow, illuminating your magical moments. The same gentle light will guide guests along the pathway, a luminous thread connecting the grand tent to the historic mansion.

For any bespoke additions—such as sidewalls, fans, heaters, or extra lighting—arrangements will be made directly with the vendor, and costs will not be managed by Ravenswood Mansion. Similarly, any adjustments to the tent's placement during its tenure will be coordinated directly with the vendor at the client’s expense.

The included tent is a 44' x 103' sailcloth style structure.

The tent will be placed over our brick patio. The patio is 40'x90' with a 1’ concrete band surround it. The patio will fit this tent but the tent will have an overhand on the sides and to the walkway area leading to the exterior restroom building.

Outside rentals may be set up beginning at the same rental period start time listed on your contract.

Please note: the staff at Ravenswood Mansion is not responsible for signing for your rental order, nor for ensuring the accuracy of the order. To avoid hiccups, we recommend clients and/or their planners are present for the delivery and set up of the rentals.

Rentals must be completely off property by 11pm on the day of your event.

Occasionally, if there are no bookings the day after your event, we can allow a different teardown window, however this is not something we can confirm until 7 days prior to your event. Please communicate with the Event Venue Manager to receive this special permission.
