Getting Ready
Valerie and her bridesmaids stepped into Ravenswood Mansion at 9AM. They made their way up to the bridal suites and began preparing for the make up artists arrival. While the groom and the groomsmen were not due at the Mansion until 12pm, the ladies took over the two Bridal Suites and hung up their dresses and accessories.
While the ceremony was offsite, the bridal party chose to get ready and take advantage of our beautiful grounds and ample bridal suites.
Bridal Portraits
Once the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. returned to Ravenswood, Valerie and Timothy took a moment to soak up Tennessee’s golden hour and the love was evident in the air. Our grounds have never looked better!

Valerie and Timothy used the inside of the house for some dramatic couple portraits as well as the outside!
Open Air Reception
As their guests arrived, they were met with a gorgeous tented reception space. String lights popped against the sunset sky above and provided the perfect moment for Timothy and Valerie’s first dance as a married couple.
Special touches
An activity sheet for the mini guests who attended was provided for them to color during the reception to keep their little hands entertained. Gold candelabras and white roses adorned the tables and Ring Pops were provided for guests to grab as a favor really made this wedding (forgive our pun) pop!
The Send Off
After a quick outfit change, Timothy and Valerie droving off into the evening. They were sent off with a great cheer from our front porch with bubbles and into their getaway car waiting in our circle driveway.
